I bought this for my son several years ago. He has both a physical and learning disability and this has been one of the best things for him. His teacher sent home a list of CVC words and we posted it on the fridge next to his word whammer. Within just a few days he knew how to spell all the words. Not only that but it is great therapy for building fine motor skills. I now wish there was something like this for spelling longer words. Thanks LeapFrog.

I received this as an Easter gift when I was 5 years old. My parents got rid of it because I was too old to have this toy.

I loved doing the Letter Hunt and the Word Hunt.

They come with extra letters too.

If you spell words like dad, dog, cat, pig, pop, ten, tad, etc, the device will say, “You’ve made one of my favorite words!”.

I played for it when I was 5. Everyone else tried it too.

I would highly recommend this toy five stars for anyone ages two to five years old.

I bought this on sale for my son (who is child #4) at Wal-Mart cause they were switching to the new design. My son loved playing with the fridge magnets at my sisters house so for his 2nd birthday I got it for him. It has been less than a month and he can identify 15 out of the 26 letters in the alphabet and he just turned 2. I would recommend this product for anyone with kids from 2 to 5. I am so happy with this product!!! I wish I would have had this for my other 3 kids.
