Manufacturers Recommended age is actually 12+ months,
I just bought this toy for my son, on the box it actually says 12+ months not what Amazon has listed in the details (24m-6years?). So this is a great toy for a 1yo if anyone had any doubts=-)

I got this toy for my almost 2yr old for Christmas. So far it has turned out to be a great gift. I am a little worried that she might rip one of the pages off. The pages are stiff but you know how a little can be at times. If you don’t have alot of educational toys yet this would be a good one to get. It is simple but yet learning. A toy your little one can sit and play with by self after you show them what to do.

|Just OK,
I got this for my (then) 18 month old daughter. She flipped through a few of the pages, pressed a few buttons and then lost interest. She’s now 2 years old and still doesn’t really play with this. At first she wanted to press the letters themselves to hear the sounds/songs and not the button above it. If I sit down with her and talk about the letter & sounds she sits and pays attention. But on her own it gets forgotten.
