Better that the plastic letters…,
I like this set because you get numbers and letters for a reasonable price considering the quality which is quite good…I would definitely choose these sets over the cheap plastic ones because the backs are a complete magnet which makes them hold on without drifting down…The colors are satisfactory, except the blue on the numbers is more like a purple…You may want to refrain from giving these to a child who is still put things in their mouth because the paper fronts will dissolve and come off…

The numbers coloring scheme seems like green/yellow are odds & red/blue are evens:

We purchased this for our 2-year old son. He is learning to read and loves to count so I wanted to surround him with letters and numbers. I love that the magnets are the “sheet” magnets instead of the small magnets that I worry about being a choking hazard. The fact that they were Melissa & Doug was a selling point too – we’ve always been happy with their products.

|Awesome Educational Magnets,
The magnets have been great!! Our daughter loves them even though she is 13 months. I see her easily developing her number, letter, word, math and spelling skills with these magnets.
