My 4.5 year old daughter and I have spent considerable time playing these games (with the exception of Rummy — the enclosed game instructions are a bit cryptic to me, but then I’ve never played Rummy). The only thing I would say about this product is the storage of the cards. I have purchased many Melissa & Doug toys over the past few years and it seems their products come contained in wooden boxes. So when the description of the product on Amazon said “set of three boxed games,” I assumed they’d be in wooden boxes. Rather, the cards are within flimsy cardboard boxes which, needless to say, have fallen apart at the edges and ends. No biggie and it doesn’t detract from the fun of these cards…. I just keep the tape handy to patch it up.

|Fun cards for kids,
These are fine cards. The kids love playing with them. The only educational aspect is matching, and taking turns, so they are just for fun. Some of the fish in the go fish game look to much alike for my 4 year old to tell them apart without help. But other then that we haven’t had any problems with them.

We bought these card games for our 5 year old for Christmas. We all enjoy playing the games, especially go fish. Even my 3 1/2 year old plays. The cards are big so they make holding them difficult for little hands but they have been pretty durable as far as cards go. Classic, entertaining games.
