great puzzle, but the construction is weak,
this puzzle is great for kids just learning their ABC’s. the kids i nanny for picked up the order of the alphabet in just a week or two. however, they ARE toddlers and are a little rough on toys…i ended up having to hot glue a lot of the corners back together, they fell apart very easily.

|My 3 Year old loves this,
Aside from reinforcing the ABCs, this puzzle is bright, colorful and fun. My son loves making the 10 foot long train and singing the ABC song while pointing out the letters on each puzzle piece. He also loves pointing out the the animals that go with the letters. It has become his favourite puzzle right out of the box!

|This is the Melissa and Doug train puzzle to buy!,
There is another Melissa and Doug train puzzle that some customers were frustrated with because it had a picture of a fox for the letter X. This version has words on each piece in addition to the picture. The “X” piece does have a fox on it, but the fox is having an X-ray taken, and the word on the piece is X-ray.
My daughter just got this puzzle, and she’s only 2, so she needed help to get the letters in the right order. She did have fun using it as a “balance beam” after it was all put together!
I think she’s going to have fun with this puzzle for a long time, and it will definitely help her to learn to put letters in the right order. We love Melissa and Doug toys!
