My 1 yr old daughter loves this toy. I think because it is little enough, while being safe, for her little hands and such fun colors, she just really enjoys stacking the different sizes/colors on the wooden stacker. I was surprised how much fun she has with a simple stacker, because she wasn’t really into the other bigger plastic ones (some with sounds) we had bought of her before. For the price, too, it’s a really good deal.

We purchased this toy for our Granddaughter (we purchased it because of the reported high quality, non-toxic nature of the Melissa & Doug toy line) but were extremely upset to see that while she was playing with it, little yellow chips of paint were coming off. We immediately took it away from her, which made her very unhappy because she loves the toy. The small size makes it great for her little hands, but we cannot have her playing with a toy that has paint chipping off! This is the 2nd Melissa and Doug toy we have purchased that was defective. We are obviously not at all happy with the quality of their products.
