Leapster L-Max Learning Game System
Leapster L-Max Learning Game System Reviews
We purchased the pink version of this toy Christmas of ’07 for our then 2 1/2 year old little girl. It is still going strong after all the use and abuse it has received for the last year and a half. The only real complaint I have is that after the third time hooking it up to the television, the jack connecting the TV cable to the television broke. I tried to call Leapfrog to get a replacement, but all I received was the runaround. They didn’t know if or when they would be getting more in, I would have to keep calling to check on the status, etc. I tried to find something that would work through our local electronics store, but none of the cables fit right and would not stay connected to the Leapster. We should have just purchased the regular Leapster and saved a little money. That is the only reason I am giving the item 4 stars instead of 5. The L-Max function is pretty useless, in my opinion. As a handheld toy, it is very durable and fun for my daughter.
My children really enjoy using their Leapster L-Max. I’ve started using rechargeable batteries because they use it so much. It is great to have on long trips in the car because it keeps them quiet. One will play while the others are watching. It’s also nice since they are learning things while playing games. We have never had an issue even with all the abuse it has received.
