Babies and toddlers will love the flashing lights and catchy beat made by this interactive LeapFrog Learning Drum. Four fun learning modes include ABCs, 123, Follow the Beat and Interactive Song. Tap the drum’s top to see patterns, numbers and letters flash across in red lights. Press the yellow star on front to hear 3 background melodies and different drum sounds. Great for sensory stimulation, motor skills and cognitive development. Volume control and easy-carry handle for little hands. Requires 3 AA batteries. Imported. 6.5Hx6.25Wx6D”.When it comes to musical instruments, the drum is arguably one of the easiest to play: just give it a smack. Fortunately, LeapFrog has created a drum that’s sure to provide ongoing delight. It’s an electronic instrument with four different settings. When set to “ABC,” each pat of the drum displays a letter on the drum’s top while a friendly voice says the letter out loud. The letters are sequential, so the drummer learns the alphabet. The “123″ option works in a similar way. There are also options for musical notes and a traditional drum sound. An off control and two volume settings will be welcomed by parents who are sure to hear this drum being played with repeatedly. If the young drummer pauses for a while, the friendly voice plays a little song or asks to be played with again. –John Moe

Great fun for seven month old,
I picked this little drum up for my grandson and he really loves it. He has a little plastic baseball bat that he bangs on it with and since he’s at the age of noise and bangs he has a great time. He enjoys the music and also he likes to listen to the voice talk to him.. It’s very durable, he likes to stand on it in the playpen to get a better view. I also like the idea that I can lower the sound and the lights are also intriguing. I’d recommend it highly as I feel he will probably even enjoy it when he gets a little older so he can learn to follow the pattern of beats.

|Great toy-Very Durable!,
My son received this drum for Christmas when he was 7 months old. He loves to beat on it (and climb on it & sit on it & drop it…). He will push the star & dance to the music. I love that it teaches the abc’s & 123′s while he is playing. I love the automatic shut off feature- he is now 17 months, still plays with it & I have yet to have to change the batteries- unlike other toys that don’t have this feature. This toy is very durable & lots of fun for him. I find myself

|Mommy to Malachi,
My son got this last Christmas — when he was 10 months old. He loved it then and he loves it now — he’ll be 2 in 3 months. He drops it (on hardwood floor) all the time, stands and sits on it. It still works well. It shuts off after a few minutes of not being played with. I only had to change the batteries once. This is a very durable, education toy. Teaches him the alphabet and numbers. It also plays like a regular drum. It has volume control as well.
