This was a gift for my two daughters (3 and 6 years old) and they love it. The youngest struggled at the beginning but is becoming much more fluent. The 6 yr. old has completed the game twice, but will still play it again. They both love how you can “unlock” items from the treasure box. I like that I can put my daughters spelling words for the week on the Leapster, and they are incorporated into the game. This game and Tinker Bell’s Lost Treasure have been their favorites so far. Toy Story is ok, but is not played nearly as often.

I bought this game for my son who just turned 4 because he loved the movie. He really loves this game! He got the Leapster Explorer and three games for Christmas. He loved Mr. Pencil so much that he wouldn’t even try the other two games. Then, he got this game for his birthday which is shortly after Christmas, and now he’s been playing this one instead.

This is a great game for the leapster explorer. It says step by step instructions. My 4 year old can figure out how to play every game. She caught on really quick and loves it! It is a great educational game that really focus’ on reading and identifying letters. We give it 5 stars!
