My 3 year-old boy, and 4 & 1/2 year-old girl received this leap book for Christmas and I kid you not, have played with it daily since then. My children were already into Thomas and his friends (they have the trains and have checked out the videos from the libray, etc.). This is just another way for them to enjoy the stories and characters (unfortunately, no female characters i.e., Lady, Annie, or Mavis).

Simply stated, if your son or daughter is a Thomas fan, this is a must have. I don’t know, however, if its appeal would be as strong for a child who was not already familiar with, or a fan of Thomas & friends. The games and concepts are developmentally appropriate, but not incredible. Nevertheless, my kids are learning from and loving this LeapPad. Thomas fans will not be disappointed!

My 3 years old is a Thomas fan. He enjoyed this book very much. The great thing about it is that he can interact with the characters he loves. It is a typical Thomas story that is full of games to help the kids recognize words and play memory games. If your child is a Thomas fan he will certainly enjoy it.

My son loves Thomas the tank engine & was so excited to receive this book for his leap pad. The story is typical Thomas & he really enjoys hearing it over and over. The games get a little boring after the first 20 or 30 times, but overall it is a good book. I wish they would make the pages a little more durable for preschoolers, this one has gotten several small tears from the cord of the pen. For the price it would be nice if the pages were laminated or something.
