First Grade LeapPad Book: Bounce, Tigger, Bounce

First Grade LeapPad Book: Bounce, Tigger, Bounce

, Tigger, BounceMade just for preschoolers and early elementary students, Leap 1 Books pack lots of lessons into one engaging, interactive story. Here, Tigger helps enhance reading and ; identify characters, themes, and settings; and develop . He also makes reading less intimidating–and more fun–as he bounces himself into one new discovery after another. Just stick the included cartridge into a LeapPad, put the in place, and, with a parent’s guidance, the LeapPad takes care of the rest. Flip the over and Tigger invites your child to play learning activities with him. Note: This works with all except the My First LeapPad Book. –Diane Beall

Although my four-year-old daughter loves Leap’s Birthday Hunt, she rarely uses this book. The story isn’t as engaging as the Leap stories and the games aren’t as interactive and fun. From now on, we’re sticking to the Leap series.

This one has a rather sad story where tigger gets into trouble with bouncing, ending up stuck in a tree with baby roo. The story ends with rabbit gloating over him and wanting him to stop bouncing for ever after tigger is rescued. So, my 2 year old never wants to finish reading this story, its just too too sad! He likes the pooh bear story much better! Not too mqny activities and games either on each page

My 2 1/2 year old loves the original Winnie The Pooh movie. This book is an abridged section of this movie. My little boy can sit through each page, listen to the stories, and touch everything to make sure he does not miss any sounds. He loves every page in the book. He is not a fan of any of the books with Leap, except the story in the book that came with the Leap Pad. If your child likes Pooh or the Pooh movie, then this book is a must.
