The small sale price on this item reflects its size.,
I guess I should’ve read the dimensions in the description, because I was very surprised to see how small this toy actually was. Despite its size, my children loved playing with this toy. It is a fine toy for independent play, but unfortuantely, because it only has the one surface to display the bear on, it was not long before we had a fight on our hands. I will tell you that the best aspect of this toy, is that it offers a new method of explaining “feelings” to a young child. The happy, sad, mad, and sick faces were a fun new way to teach my little ones.

|Melissa and Doug – High Quality Standards,
I see that some reviews talk about Melissa & Doug items made in china. I spoke with Melissa & Doug on this, ALL of their items are product tested in their home office before being sold. They have the highest quality controls – they are not a public giant company so they can adhere to their own higher standards.
As for this toy, my daughter loves it. It is great to dress up the bear in so many different outfits!
As usual, Melissa & Doug have outdone themselves again!

|Perfect for those motor skills!,
This is very cute! If your little one likes playing with puzzles or toys that are tactile and hands-on (but not too complicated) then this is perfect. It’s not very big- about the size of an adult’s hand.
My only complaint is that the lid does not stay closed. It just sits on top the box, but there is nothing to make it stay- bad designing concept.
