Our two-year-old nephew lives in India, and the “Legos” that can be purchased in India are generally not the same type or quality as the actual Lego brand. When we traveled there recently, I took him a large set of Duplo building blocks, and came across this set. Of course I had to buy it!
Even though all of the little people are dressed in Western-style clothes, it’s nice to have the different skin tones. Their arms and legs move, and their heads turn (you can even rotate the caps on the little boys’ heads!).
My only complaint, and the only reason I rated this a 4 instead of a 5, is the high price. $40 for a set of 16 people is high when compared to the prices of the building sets themselves…but since this product seems to be exclusive to Lego, I guess that explains it!
Overall, though, our nephew seems to like the people more than the actual building blocks! Even our eight-year-old nephew enjoys them too.
