Final Fantasy Advent Children Vincent Valentine Action Figure

Final Fantasy Advent Children Vincent Valentine Action Figure
Final Fantasy Advent Children Vincent Valentine Action Figure Reviews
Vincent Valentine(Figure no. 2). Probably the most beloved optional side character in the Final Fantasy series.
I was looking so forward to this figure. But when I got him, I had mixed feelings.
Yes he looks great. The detail for him is beatiful. His cape and Cerberus(his gun) are very well sculpted. His golden hand and feet look great. Hair and face are well done too. He has okay articulation. More on that later.
His cape is a soft rubber which gives it great flexability. And it’s buckles look good. The Cerberus is very well crafted for it’s size. And can be held or put into a holster located on the figures back right leg. Also the at the base of the guns handle, there is a chain with the Derge Of Cerberus symbol on the end(THIS CHAIN AND SYMBOL ARE DELICATE, BE WARNED!!).
Now for the downfall. The downfall is mainly his cape. The top part that wraps around his shoulders does NOT unbuckle in any way. Which makes it impossible to raise his arms above his waist. His arms can basically bend only at the elbows due to this problem. Which is a BIG limit on possing. But his legs are free from this problem.
He does have great detaling under his cape at the shoulders. So you could cut his cape open at the buckles to have more movement and still have him look decent. But that choice is yours.
So his cape restriction and the delicate chain on his gun is a downside. Still, in my opinion, this figure does this great character justice.
Yes, he is a must have for FF7AC collectors. Or fans of Dirge Of Cerberus.
The action figure was in amazing condition, which is great because it will not be taken out of the box. Thank you for your prompt and amazing servcice.
I really enjoy the look of this action figure for such a great character. Its very sturdy but I wish I could raise his arm up far enough to rest the gun on his shoulder but that’s not really a big deal. Very well made and I recommend this for fans of the series. I originally got this for my 3 year old for some odd reason likes watching Final Fantasy stuff but when I got it I had to keep it for myself. It was just way to nice but probably someday I will let her play with it nicely.
This figure was really cool. But what’s disappointing is that his arms are limited in movement due to the cape. But the cape feels really cool that I always find myself feeling it whenever I get the chance.
This is the third FF figure that I’ve purchased (the other two being Balthier and Sephiroth) and I was not disappointed by the amount of detail put into it. Everything down to the buckles to his left arm to the chain on Cerberus are beautiful. I was especially impressed by the cape, which I thought would be stiff but it’s thinner and moves. I was afraid if it were stiff then it might break because of the small, frayed parts of his cape. I was also happy that Vincent has a holster for Cerberus, something I wished Balthier had so I won’t risk losing his gun.
In comparison to the movement of Balthier and Sephiroth, Vincent can move the least. His cape, which I was hoping would unsnap like Sephiroth’s coat to allow for more range of movement, does not unsnap, so his arms are very limited in terms of movement. But that is the only complaint that I have about him. I had wondered why there was not an extra left hand, but usually the extra hand is a fist, and think of how it would hurt if Vincent curled that clawed hand into a fist! As a minor note, Vicent more securely holds his gun than Balthier, to the point where I had to figure out how the gun got into his hand. But that’s also a minor thing.
If you are a fan of Advent Children or Dirge of Cerberus, get this figure! From my searching, it’s not too easy to find in stores like some of the other Advent Children ones.
When my husband saw this figure the first thing he said was how cool the cape was, and that it reminded him of the movie Love at First Bite with the ending line “the magic is in the cape”. I told him that Vincent is a vampire so there you go.
I bought Vincent to represent Final Fantasy VII and the Movie, but in the end he stands in front of my Dirge of Cerberus game.
The head can move up or down and from side to side, and you can change the poses by the waist and from the elbows to give different looks from time to time. The cape is exactly what he wears, so from that to his cool pointy shoes, to the claw hand and finally the small touches like the chain hanging from his gun with the Cerberus emblem; all makes for a perfect figure in my game case.
This figure is extremely detailed: from the brooding look V’s face to the swoop of his cape to the intricate chain on Cerberus, his triple-barrel gun. He is every bit as skinny as he is portrayed in the games. His tattered cape flows behind him as if caught in a chaotic wind.
If there is any down side to this figure (and it is small at that) is the fact that the rubber over his shoulders is a little firm, so that you can’t raise his gun arm up over his shoulder. A small price to pay, folks. Just find a new, cooler pose. If you’re a fan, pick this up.
